The Jordan Lions Club recently voted to make a donation in the amount of $2,000 to the Jordan parks to be used for added equipment to the Mill Pond beach and Lagoon Park area.

Picnic tables would probably be the most practical addition to the area for everyone to use, project chairman Greg Leahy wrote in a letter to the city. “We hope that this amount will enable you to purchase and install the most appropriate tables for the area. The Lions Club is excited about being able to donate resources to upgrade our town's wonderful park, which is certainly an important part of our community. We also hope to be able to contribute again for future needs of our park and beach.”
