In game that featured just about everything, the Jordan football team survived Belle Plaine to improve to 2-0 on the season on Friday night.
The Hubmen scored with 25.1 seconds left in the game to take a 41-34 lead - a lead that they held onto despite a last ditch effort by the Tigers.
Jordan led 34-20 with 11 minutes left in the game when Belle Plaine rallied for two touchdowns and had a chance to take the lead if it wasn't for a big interception by Tyler Glynn with 55 seconds left.
After Glynn intercepted the Belle Plaine pass with 55 seconds left and returned it to Jordan's 43 yard line, quarterback Todd Garnhardt connected with Yuriy Malashenko for a 48-yard reception that brought the football to Belle Plaine's nine yard line.
Danny Lewis than rushed the ball to the two yard line and than with 31.1 seconds left Garnhardt sneaked the ball in for the winning score.
Right from the start of the game, you could tell it was going to be a wild game.
Belle Plaine took a 6-0 lead on their first possesion when Tyler Hartman busted loose for a 56-yard touchdown.
Jordan answered right back with nine play drive that ended with a Kyle Coglitore 1-yard touchdown run.
Hartman answered right back with a 54-yard touchdown run only to see James Lucas to score from 31 yards out to give the Hubmen the lead right back at 14-12.
Lewis busted loose just before the end of the first quarter for a 42-yard TD run for a 21-12 lead.
Belle Plaine answered later in the second only to see Lewis score again and send the game into halftime with the Hubmen leading 27-20.
Coglitore scored his second touchdown of the game at 9:22 of the third for a Jordan 34-20 lead.
That lead stood up until Belle Plaine scored on a 96-yard touchdown reception and a 27-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter.
