Melissa is the daughter of Bob and Colleen Beckrich of Shakopee. She is a 2000 graduate of Shakopee High School and graduated from Minnesota State University in Mankato with a degree in elementary education. She is a teacher at Minnesota Montessori Accelerated Learning Center in Shakopee. Witt is the daughter of Gary and Susie Witt of Le Sueur. She attended Belle Plaine High School and the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities and is an auditor at Eide Bailly. Schwingler, originally from Jordan, is the son of Jim and Chris Schwingler of Jordan. He attended Jordan High School and Dunwoody Institute and is an electrician at Master Electric. A wedding is planned for Sept. 6, 2008. Klehrs welcome Jake NicholasJuly 19, 2008 - 10:58am — Mathias BadenBruce and Nicki Klehr of Jordan announce the birth of their son Jake Nicholas Klehr at 1:05 p.m. April 23, 2008, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.
Jake weighed 7 pounds and was 19 inches long. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

The baby boy weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 22-1/2 inches long. He has bright blue eyes and light brown hair. Brayden’s grandparents are Tony Raser of Chaska, Shelly Vanderlinde of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Michael and Sandra Horton of Jordan. Gutzmers welcome twinsJuly 19, 2008 - 8:45am — Mathias BadenJeff and Stacey Gutzmer of Jordan proudly announce the birth of their twin sons, Ty and Logan, on June 2, 2008, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. Ty Lee was born at 10:05 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 1 ounce. He was 21 inches long. Logan Ray followed at 10:07 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces. He was 21-1/2 inches long. They are welcomed home by big brothers Brandon, 14, and Aiden, 2. The Brewers open up the playoffs with a game on Wednesday against Shakopee. Legion in title game tonightJuly 18, 2008 - 2:14pm — Todd AbelnThe Jordan American Legion team takes on Le Sueur tonight for the League E championship. The two teams will play at 7:30 p.m. in Le Sueur. Jordan defeated Le Sueur 5-3 in nine innings on Wednesday to force this final championship game. New car show starts tonight in ShakopeeJuly 18, 2008 - 1:36pm — sfieckeLocal restaurant owner Bryan Turtle said there could be 500 vehicles showing up for tonight's Minnesota Valley Rally in downtown Shakopee. A spin-off of a car show that used to occur mid-week, the rally is expected to draw a much larger crowd because it's being held Fridays, every other week. There will be street vendors and area shops will also be open. The first event is tonight, with remaining shows scheduled for July 18; August 1, 15 and 29 and Sept. 12 and 26. The event is sponsored by the Shakopee Downtown Partnership and Boy Scout Troop 619. |
