Because they got the No. 1 seed, Jordan will receive a bye in the first round. Their first game will be at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 against United South Central or Le Center-Cleveland. The game will be played in Jordan. Should they win that game, they will play at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 at Caswell Park in Mankato. JMS completes cosmic journeyMay 15, 2008 - 10:37am — BrandonCosmic Journey Jordan Middle School students got a chance to explore the final frontier from the safety of the gym last week. The school hosted the Minnesota Planetarium Exloradome portable planetarium. The program – housed in an inflatable dome in which students laid on the floor and gazed at projected video on the ceiling – allowed students to visit almost anywhere they wanted within our solar system. They also had a chance to see most of the known universe when the projected video brought them outside the solar system and outside the Milky Way galaxy. |
