The Jordan School Board planned on the volleyball team being in the state tournament when they set the 2007-2008 calendar back in March. They voted at that time to schedule two teacher workshop days back to back Thursday and Friday this week in hopes that the students and staff might have a reason to want to be out of the classroom.
