What: In celebration of National Public Health Week, the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and the Minnesota Public Health Association will hold a five-day film festival highlighting different aspects of public health. The films will be introduced by School of Public Health faculty members, alumni and others with expertise in the particular areas highlighted in the films, include aging, HIV/AIDS, global warming, immigrant health, and sexuality education.
When: 5:30 p.m. each day between Monday, April 2, and Friday, April 6
Where: Mayo Memorial Auditorium, 425 Delaware St. S.E. in Minneapolis

The Academic Health Center is home to the University of Minnesota’s six health professional schools and colleges as well as several health-related centers and institutes. Founded in 1851, the University is one of the oldest and largest land grant institutions in the country. The AHC prepares the new health professionals who improve the health of communities, discover and deliver new treatments and cures, and strengthen the health economy.
