Girl Scout Cookies

It's Girl Scout Cookie time again! Beginning Saturday, January 19, the Jordan Girl Scouts will be taking orders for Girl Scout Cookies.

New this year are Lemon Chalet Creams (a lemon sandwich cookie) and Sugar Free Chocolate Chips (a sugar free chocolate chip cookie that doesn't taste sugar free). The old favorites (Thin Mints, Trefoils, Samoas, Do-Si-Dos, Tagalongs and All Abouts) are back as well.

Not only do cookie sales allow troops to raise money to support their activities, it gives girls the opportunity to set goals, develop self-confidence and build self-esteem.


Scott West not close, but not far
Start: 5:00 pm
End: 9:30 pm

The Scott West wrestling team doesn't get the chance to wrestle near home very often in a season.

Tonight, they have to travel again. They aren't close to home, but they aren't far either.

The Panthers are taking part in a triangular tonight at New Prague. The teams will be Scott West, New Prague and Windom.

The meet starts at 5 p.m. with New Prague and Windom facing each other.


Hubmen at Norwood
Start: 7:30 pm
End: 9:00 pm

The Jordan boys basketball team is at Norwood-Young America tonight.

The Hubmen and Central Raiders varsity begans at 7:30 p.m.
