Scott County HHW (Household Hazardous Waste) Facility will be closed on Wednesday July 4th

The Scott County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th. We will reopen for normal operation on Saturday, July 7th.


Fireworks in Shakopee
Start: 10:00 pm

To celebrate the July 4th holiday, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community invites the public to a free fireworks display.

For the 13th year in a row, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community is sponsoring an elaborate fireworks display at its Pow Wow Grounds in Shakopee. The fireworks will go on, rain or shine, unless there is severe weather. The display is put on by the SMSC Public Works Department.

Show time is 10:00 p.m.

The Pow Wow Grounds are located along Dakotah Parkway, just south of County Road 42 between county roads 83 and 17.
