Paul Keup, 75, of Belle Plaine, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 after a three-month battle with Leukemia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, from 4-8 p.m. at Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and will continue Friday morning from 8:00-10:45 at the funeral home.

Cary Alan Peterson

Cary Peterson, 58, of Prior Lake, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Highland Chateau Nursing Home in St. Paul.

Cary was born Aug. 21, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to parents Don and Peggy (Pebley) Peterson. He married Colleen Linder on Aug. 2, 1985 in Tarrant County, Texas. Cary retired from the United States Army after 20 years as a combat medic and was a member of the Prior Lake V.F.W. Post 6208.

Leo R. Adelmann, 64, of Belle Plaine, died Friday, June 26, 2009 in an auto accident near Dickinson, N.D.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 1, from 4-8 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Veteran’s prayer service will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the services at church on Thursday morning.

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) today announced that a Twin Cities area child who was infected with the H1N1 novel influenza virus has died. The child, who had underlying medical conditions, was briefly hospitalized and died late last week. Laboratory tests subsequently determined that the child had the H1N1 novel influenza.
