Harry Potter tonight!!! Woooooo!!!

Unfortunately, I won't be buying the book tonight - I'll be out of town. But when I get back Sunday afternoon, I'm buying and immediately reading it.

I'm an impulse browser,

I'm an impulse browser, because I don't buy the books or take them home. I just read them in the store, while I'm waiting for my darling wife.

I liked the movie quite a

I liked the movie quite a bit, too. I would still say that “Prisoner of Azkaban” is the best movie in the series (“Goblet of Fire” is my favorite book).

But, like with any movie I enjoyed, there were a few things I didn’t like:

This is one of my least favorite books in the series, especially when it comes to Harry’s storyline – he spends the whole book whining about something. But this book was also the point in the series where I really started to like Neville Longbottom, who is now my favorite character, and started to like Ron a lot more. Unfortunately, in the movie they were both given next to nothing to do.

Also, the movie seemed a little jumpy to me (and to my friends with whom I saw it).

Other than that, I thought it was aces (the bee’s knees, even). I did realize that I’ve become the Harry Potter equivalent of a “Star Wars” geek – I obsess and become super-nerdy about even the smallest things or plot points (as evidenced by the fact that my favorite character is a very minor one).

Can’t wait until the book comes out next weekend!
