I think it’d be cool to have a live Web cam feed from one of Jordan’s public school hallways. There’s always something going on at the school, even if it’s custodians cleaning the halls late at night. It would be fun to see the students between classes, too.

Thanks for the thoughts.I know that a name like LemonySnicket means nothing to most. I am not sure it is even a good representation of me. However, the need for anonymity in some cases is needed and in others not so much. I guess a person can have multiple personalities online. I can even ID myself if, I chose to do so. In some cases, I will. In some not so much.

I agree that some of the things are not very nice and some indeed are controversial. However, there is a way for people to vent. An example being St. Johns. Some of the people would not have the opportunity to even say anything in real time. Most of what I have seen is not bad or wrong. People get passionate about ideals and ideas. If someone really wanted to see me, I would not turn down the invitation. For now there are times when one needs to lurk or perhaps like some just watch the action. Not everyone is hiding. I just appreciate an outlet for some thoughts. We live in a town that is changing and with change comes a good deal of stress. Seems to me this allows a lot of people an outlet for words that they would have, otherwise, never said.

That’s not a bad idea at all! Most of my cousins and I have at least two hours of driving (in my case, six or more hours) to get to our grandparents’ house, so that would make good sense. I might look into that this weekend.

We give a $10 to $20 gift - a guy buys for a guy- I tried so hard to be original but was failing. I was walking through the tool section at Sears when I came across an electronic tire pressure guage (LED readout).

It turned out to be a hit. The recipient even commented on it the following Christmas. He now checks tire pressure every time he fills with gas.

Who would've thunk.
