If you still want to shop

If you still want to shop in Eden Prairie, there is a resale store, the PROP Shop, which I believe has nice used clothes, books and other things too. It's right off Highway 5 at 15195 Martin Drive. However, it was not featured in any Kevin Smith movies.

I love your idea Tom! I

I love your idea Tom! I could totally fit right in. I may even turn my hat slightly sideways.

Even at the mall in Eden Prairie, shopping is shopping. I’m actually thinking about finding a really good Good Will or Salvation Army type store where I can buy nice used clothes and find cheap used books and other things, too. Anyone have any suggestions?

Shopping at Eden Prairie

Shopping at Eden Prairie Center -- you know, of "Mallrats" fame? -- ain't bad, though. Just pretend you're in the movie.

I say you rip the hole a

I say you rip the hole a little bigger, wear your pants really, really low and go hang out at the mall.

You may just fit right in.

Geez, Mathias, did you

Geez, Mathias, did you really have to share this? :) But trust me, I know the feeling. It's not just b/c of the weather that I'm wearing skirts to work this summer. Hopefully by fall my pants will fit me again. That's the great thing about skirts- they deal with weight fluctuations much better than pants.

Ha, Mathias! A youngster

Ha, Mathias! A youngster like you has nothing to complain about. Wait until you're 50! Then you can't even have the dip with the veggies. Sigh. I'd write more, but I'm off to Jo's Gym for my Tuesday date with the elliptical.

At least you noticed that

At least you noticed that something was wrong with the pants. I’ve gone weeks or months of washing and wearing clothes that were damaged in some way without even knowing it. (Although a missing pants button is a little more noticeable than a missing shirt button.

I popped a button off a

I popped a button off a pair of my favorite pants about six months ago and I think it's because the clothing manufacturers are using a cheaper grade of thread -- nothing holds up like it used to in the good ol' days! (Ha Ha)

I finally sewed a button on (while I was wearing them) one night a couple weeks ago when I was headed to a Twins game because I had injured myself several times with the safety pin I was using in lieu of a button. Rather than just change my pants, I wanted to wear these favorites and be injury-free on my post-beer drinking bathroom runs at the Dome.

By the way, I have a Nordic Trac that works awesome as an indoor clothes line -- especially since that pair of pants I mentioned are linen and can't be put in the dryer.
