It was a good run for Lord Favre, but it's over.
Packer fans may be said, but I'll be the Packer brass is doing back flips. They have to be thinking privatley, "Thanks Brett for the Super Bowl and years of dedicated service, but finally we can move on and rebuild the team without having to always wonder what your status is."

I'm surprised that Brett would retire with his last pass being an interception. And he's still better than 2/3 of the quarterbacks in the NFL. But, we Packer fans knew it had to happen. I, for one, and glad that he quit while he was still on top of his game. We've all seen stars who didn't know when to quit, and who ended their careers on sad notes. Better this way, I think.
