I've been watching this kid a little bit online. He's settled down and might be a good lefthanded option out of the bullpen later this year. His numbers: 2.36 earned-run average, 1-0, 26-2/3 innings, 19 strikeouts.

But the Twins have lots of good pitchers in Triple-A.

Got his first win of the spring in a two-inning effort today. But Gomez' earned-run average is 9.00, so he'll have to have more good efforts to make the team.
