What would the JI do without Gregg Busch and Paul Sunder? When they stop writing -- and I hope that is a long, long, long time -- your local newspaper will dramatically change forever. Thanks to these two dedicated columnists.

I lose sleep some nights, too, because of the baby in my life. Instead of a granddaughter, though, I have a niece who lives eight hours away. She’ll celebrate her first birthday on Friday, but every little cough and cold in that one year has kept me up at night.
