Thanks for letting us know about the website Mathias. Very cool.

I get Brewer season tickets each year (last year it was $15 for two!) During a game last year I talked to a Jordan resident who was attending for the first time. Was he ever amazed by the ballpark and the level of play.

Even if you don't like baseball, come down to the mini-met, and enjoy a warm summer night with your friends and a beer. You'll be glad you did.

I was one of those individuals who got a ticket, and, boy, was I stinking mad, since there was no sign identifying the road as no parking. I complained to the officers there that day and had planned to follow up with a call to the police chief, when I was notified that the tickets were revoked. I'm glad they decided to revisit the issue. I still don't know what the big deal is about parking there, at least allowing it on one side; however, if they're not going to allow parking, they better have signs.

To me, this story is a great example of how the police department in Jordan really does care about the citizens of our town. I feel lucky as a Jordan resident to have the police officers that we’ve got, and it’s nice to have a police department that is not some nameless, faceless, unforgiving and unmoving force, but that is a part of the community.
