Cross Country is a great example of lack of coverage. I believe there has been maybe one picture all season (during practice??). Look at today's paper!

littlebirdy, what are the "not so popular sports" you write about? As far as the high school teams go, I think each team this fall has received some good coverage and photos in our local paper. Maybe we don't see much on cross country. I don't see much on them as far as pictures. And I AGREE that the cricket story (with no local ties) was absolutely unnecessary, especially when there are tons of local sports to write about.
