I spent a lot of time smack-talking with my sister and some friends back in the Chicago area -- all of whom are White Sox fans. There were some friendly wagers and I have some chores to do and some dinners to buy on my next trip back home. But it was a fun ride all the way to the end, wasn't it?

Me either. It's going to be a long winter, but hopefully just as exciting as last winter. A big move or two would be nice -- something to write home about. Adrian Beltre, maybe? Some more power arms for the pen? Barry Bonds?

I will miss having something

I will miss having something to watch on TV and listen to on
the radio that is about athletes who are honorable and want to
win. The MN Twins are a joy to cheer for. They made me proud
to be a fan. I can't wait for spring training.
