Aw, maaaaaaaan. Too bad. I know the Jordan team put its heart and soul into this season and, I'm sure, into winning that championship game.

Just getting to Kansas City this year was an achievement -- they've still strung together a number of great seasons. Great job, guys!

Legion team falls twice at regional

The Jordan American Legion baseball team reached the championship game of the Central Plains Regional baseball tournament undefeated but did not come home with the championship trophy.

Jordan lost twice to the North Las Vegas Legacy American Legion team on Sunday to finish in second place at the 2008 Central Plains Regional baseball tournament in Pratt, Kan.

In the first game, Jordan lost 3-1. In the final game, Jordan fell 4-3
