Go figure: The day after the manager tells me the Brewers aren't going to score a lot of runs, they go out and post eight. What do ya know?

The Jordan Brewers defeated Shakopee 8-7 on Wednesday night to improve to 1-0 in the Section 3B playoffs.

Jordan is the top seed in their pool with Shakopee and Prior Lake. Chaska, Green Isle and Victoria are in the other pool
