Judge's order says city can take church land for stoplight, sidewalks

Scott County District Court Judge Michael A. Fahey's order says that the city of Jordan can, by law, condemn land from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, because the city plans to construct sidewalks and a stoplight -- not a road -- on the property.
