 <description>&lt;p&gt;Laurie Green, a guidance counselor at Belle Plaine High School, said that an estimate that half of local ninth- and 10th-graders are active in social networking Web sites like Myspace or Facebook is conservative. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Every week, Green sees written examples of serious cyber-bullying, reported the &lt;i&gt;Belle Plaine Herald.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Police, counselors, a representative from the Jacob Wetterling Foundation, and others cautioned students about the dangers of the Internet, especially in the areas of providing personal information to complete strangers.&lt;/p&gt;
