I’ve never seen it, and I like Tom Hanks, so I have reason to want to see it. But I was warned against the movie during high school by a youth pastor who hated it, so I never gave it a chance.

Surprises are not always good. Especially if you're Tom Hanks, who plays Joe Banks in "Joe Versus the Volcano."

So he's talking to Meg Ryan (who plays three characters who turn out to be love possibilities for Banks/Hanks) while they are making out. He tells her why his outlook on life has drastically changed.

Her answer:

"You tell me you're dying. You tell me you're jumping into a volcano. I don't know what to say."

Would anyone? Man, except for how depressing it is at times, I love that movie.
