Samantha Ann Peterson and Charles Walter LaBoda of Hovland announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Samantha is the daughter of Joe and Kari Peterson of Hovland. Her grandparents are Vern Hennes of Jordan and Mary Hennes of Belle Plaine. As a homeschooled student, Samantha graduated from Jordan High School. She is a preschool assistant at Grand Portage Head Start program.

Charles is the son of Dan LaBoda and Darnelle LaBoda of Hovland. He attended Cook County High School and is self-employed at LaBoda Excavation.
