Next council election, which is this fall, there are four seats up for election. Each Jordan City Council term runs for four years, beginning at the following new year, except in cases of a special election.

The terms of Mayor Ron Jabs and councilmembers Sally Schultz, Mike Shaw, and Barry Ullmann up for election this November, so the upcoming terms for those seats would run from January 2009 to December 2012.

Councilmember Jeremy Goebel was re-elected and councilmembers David Hanson and Jeanne Marnoff were newly elected in 2006. The terms for these three continue through December 2010.

Which City Council seats are up for election in 2008?

If I follow the information correctly on the City website, it looks
like there are 3 council seats plus the mayor position that are
up for election.

Is this right?
