I'm on the "Christmas

I'm on the "Christmas Vacation" and "The Christmas Story" bandwagon, for sure. There's also a great "Twilight Zone" episode about a Santa who frequents the local drinking establishment before heading to work at a department store North Pole -- sad, but with a great point.

The best Holiday movies are "It's a Wonderful Life", "Miracle on 42nd Street", "Sleepless in Seattle", and "Christmas Shoes".

Of course there are these classics too: "Rudolph", "Charlie Brown Christmas", "Frosty the Snowman".

Definitely, Scrooged is

Definitely, Scrooged is always overlooked. But a great one none the less.

Bill Murray is classic.

Yeah, "Vacation" and

Yeah, "Vacation" and "Christmas Story" are both pretty good. And I love “Elf.” But another great Christmas movie that often gets overlooked is “Scrooged.” Sure, it’s another re-telling of “A Christmas Carol,” but it’s got Bill Murray! His TV exec filming a live monster version of “Christmas Carol” is hilarious. It’s even got Lee Majors rescuing Santa Clause with the help of some elves and a few machine guns. What more could you ask for, really?

I will agree with Christmas

I will agree with Christmas Vacation, as Chevy Chase is always very funny. Another that I enjoy every year is A Christmas Story. You know, the one with the line "you'll shoot your eye out, kid". You can catch it every year on the TBS marathon, it runs for 24 hours starting Christmas eve.

Scott Hornemann

Best Holiday movies?

I saw a recent top-10 list on MSN.com about the best unoriginal movies. I think they called them "dark" holiday movies. The basic premise was, yeah, everyone watches "A Wonderful Life" but there are other great ones out there too. Ones that go largely unnoticed. Their No. 1, and a very good one in my opinion was the original Die Hard (how was that office party, Brandon).

So what are some of your favorite (traditional or otherwise) holiday movies.
