This obviously cannot go on forever and there are only two things that can be done. Either the district earns more money by passing a successful referendum or the district cuts what it is spending. The residents of the district did not pass the last referendum indicating they are not ready to give the school district more money. The only thing the district can do now is to cut from its budget. </p> <p>No matter how difficult the decision may be, the budget needs to be balanced. If any referendum is going to be successful in the future, the school district needs to get its budget balanced first.</p> <p>According to the district website, they are looking for residents to serve on a committee that would examine potential budget cuts.
