Yeah, that’ll be a great match to watch. And a lot of Jordan fans should get the chance to actually go to the game, too. The Jordan School Board planned on the volleyball team being in the state tournament when they set the 2007-2008 calendar back in March. They voted at that time to schedule two teacher workshop days back to back Thursday and Friday this week in hopes that the students and staff might have a reason to want to be out of the classroom. (Read about the discussion by visiting http://www.jordannews.com/node/2211.) It looks like the board made the right scheduling decision.

* They’ve made it to the state tournament. That’s an achievement in itself. * Here’s hoping that they get past an undefeated opponent in round one. * They’ll probably beat up on a rural team in round one and have a close match in round two. * Chalk up the second state tourney win in a row. Take no team for granted, but winning again is no stretch of the imagination.
