I understand your opinion about Taxes...however if someone is dumb enough to buy a Hannah Montana ticket for $500 then so be.

As far as taxes....right now there are Billions and I mean Billions of dollars being collected through sales on the internet...without taxes being collected, when they get that figured out then they can start to worry about a $500 ticket.

It is my understanding that 'entertainment' and other taxes are collected on selling prices of tickets to sporting and other events. The tax is added to the selling price of the ticket. How is the tax collected on tickets that are sold for $500. or more? A ticket 'resellers' V.P. representitive said, on TV, that 'whatever price people will pay, that is fair'. How does he feel about $10. gasoline, $5. eggs or $20. kwh electricty? Hannah Montana appeared in a public funded - not a scalper funded - faciltiy. Who is being served?

Yes, I would buy from a scalper. Now thats legal in Minnesota to actually scalp tickets. If you want to go to the "Hot" shows then you usually need to put up the dollars to do it.

Mathias is also right here.....only for the games or shows that are hard to get tickets for. In another 2 years we won't even know who Hannah Montana is anymore.

Only for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game or the World Series, something that's really hard for which to get tickets. Or something that is of great importance. Not Hannah Montana, no.
