Prior to moving up the Cities, I was both a teacher and an administrator at an alternative school. I recall David Bly being a teacher in alternative education and being actively involved in the Minnesota Association of Alternative Programs.

The number of students enrolled in alternative programs has increased significantly in the past decade so it does not surprise me that there is a group discussing how they operate.
