I never really thought about how many states I've visited and, I'd have to consult a few photo albums to be sure, but I think from glancing at a U.S. map I can safely say I've been to 26 states thus far in my life.

Except for New York, it looks like I've neglected the eastern part of the country -- but I've got a cousin in Connecticut and a friend in Massachusetts so maybe I should plan a roadtrip! I've given the Midwest a good run and have spent some time in the south and on the West Coast so the east may need my company.

My brother is thinking about moving to Alaska so I'm hoping to pick up that state once he settles in.

I’m in Utah right now. On my trip, I’ll be crossing Nevada, Utah and Arizona off my list of visited states. My goal is to hit all 50 before I die.
