Congratulations to these hard-working 4-Hers. The staff of your local newspaper proudly supports the local 4-H clubs.

Please keep the JI in mind when you are planning any interesting or different projects. My small staff and I love to know, especially ahead of time, what you're planning. And readers usually appreciate the stories that are done, too.

Helping Hands elect officers

On Sept. 25, the Helping Hands 4-H club elected officers for the 2006-2007 year. Kevin Stocker will serve as the club’s president, and Jenni Bartholomay was elected as the secretary. Jason Stocker was re-elected as the treasurer of the club. Alex Worm will be the club historian, and Jeff Stocker will hold the office of reporter.
