That sounds AMAZING! First of all, the wedding itself would be gorgeous, and then the spontaneity of the children and the song...whew! I have to admit, I'm jealous.

Star Wars.
That's

Star Wars.
That's intersesting, unique and different.
Nice.
I was honored a few years back to have friends ask me to photograph their wedding.
The wedding was held at sunset on a beach in Puerto Vallarta,so it was beautiful to begin with.
But the unique detail was completely unplanned and unexpected.
As the bride and groom walked off towards the ocean with each other after the ceremony, I followed them out taking photos of their feet in the sand and things like that.
As we turned around to join the wedding party, a group of six young Mexican boys formed a circle around them.
They all had enormous grins on their faces and they sung the newlyweds a song in Spanish and did some sort of celebratory dance.
I was a photographer deep in dreamland.
Apparently the children's parents had seen the ceremony while they were walking down the beach. They went home to get their children, brought them to the beach and told them to perform a song and dance after the wedding.
Needless to say this brought the bride and her mother to tears.
Could a rookie photographer ask for something better?
This was by far and away the most unique detail I have ever seen at a wedding. Then again most of my friends aren't married.
Cute and unique.
But it was no lightsaber show.

"Star Wars" fans are crazy.

"Star Wars" fans are crazy. It's embarrassing to publicize this to the world, but my darling wife and I -- both "Star Wars" fans -- bought toy lightsabers for each of the groomsmen. When we were introduced at our wedding reception, the groomsmen held out their lightsabers, touching them at the tips to form a sort of tunnel through which we entered.

It wasn't the easiest thing to photograph, I'm sure, but it was really silly, fun, and personal -- an informal-but-not-so-intrusive touch after a formal wedding.

I have photographed over 100 weddings...and disagree with many people...each one is incredibly wonderful!
