I've just been informed by a coworker that Jennie-O seasoned turkey burgers are "pretty darn good." This particular coworker had never tried them before.

In fact, I just reminded myself how little grilling I’ve done this year. Maybe I’ll bust out the little Weber portable tonight and get some grilling done.

Back to page topThe couple times I've had turkey burgers, I thought they were kind of dry so I thought I prepared them wrong. Then I tried ground turkey in spaghetti sauce and, oddly enough, it seemed dry, too.
My daughter refuses to eat turkey burgers -- and she's usually willing to try anything (she even ate wallaby in Australia). On her first turkey burger encounter, she ended up putting five different kinds of mustard on it "to kill the taste."
Oh, well. So long as she'll still eat sushi, we're in business!

If you cook the burgers on a George Foreman grill, they come out nice and juicy.
They will not be dripping in fat like regular hamburger. :-)
Honey mustard tastes great with turkey burgers.
I use low salt ketchup too.
