At the city council meeting prior to Heimatfest, Jordan's annual city festival, Ron Jabs made a mayoral prediction.

"I'm sure we'll have wonderful weather," Jabs said.

Heimatfest is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 7-8. The Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce Miss Jordan Ambassador Program pageant takes place Thursday, Sept. 6.

I'll side with the mayor on this one and vote for mild weather, along with a good time to be had by all.
