Lock 'em up. That's whatcha gotta do.

It was a great move by Minnesota Twins General Manager Terry Ryan to lock up catcher Joe Mauer for four years. I'm looking forward to attending, watching, listening to, or Tivo'ing every game during that tenure.

Mauer's every bit as excellent as everyone says he is -- I love watching the kid.

And the Twins just wouldn't be the Twins if we didn't get Justin Morneau signed. Power in the middle is something we've sorely needed for years, and now we've got it.

I like the Nick Punto, Rondell White, and Juan Rincon signings, too.

Punto's a sparkplug, White's worth a second chance, and Rincon's never been more solid than he was last year.

It's nice to have a great team back again. Wish the season started tomorrow. When does radio coverage of spring training start?
