Our air conditioning has been working well since Don Hartmann & Co. came to fix it on the spur of the moment last month.

It's a good thing, too, because it's piping hot outside right now -- 90 degrees. Whew!

I'm hoping for cooler weather this weekend and maybe even a little light rain. Heimatfest is coming. I'll be here Friday and Saturday, for sure.

The forecast calls for a beautiful weekend for Heimatfest. That’s good news, because a weekend with the kind of heat we’ve been having lately would have been a whole lot less fun.
