As much as $113,000 could be spent on Jordan's 2008 comprehensive plan.
The city council approved the spending on Monday night. About $50,440 would be spent on the transportation section of the plan, $19,900 to $25,900 on a stormwater management plan, $4,900 on a plan for water distribution, and $23,900 to $31,900 on the sanitary sewer plan.
Bolton & Menk, City Engineer Carol Caron's firm, agreed to do the work and refrain from billing the city until 2008 to allow for the costs to be worked into next year's budget.
Most of the proposed work is required by the state.
