On Monday, the Jordan City Council approved charitable gambling permits for three bars.

Brewers of Jordan, Jack's Bar and Grill, and Moola's Bar will participate in the Jordan Fire Department Relief Association's fund-raising efforts. Brewers is located at 350 Eldorado Drive, Jack's is at 205 S. Broadway St., and Moola's is at 216 E. First St.

The city council passed the motion with a 5-0 vote. Mayor Ron Jabs and Councilmember Jeanne Marnoff were absent from the meeting.
