This Web site is looking for bloggers.
And if you already have one, you don't have to start a new one.
Southwest Newspapers is working on a redesigned Web site that will allow us to stream your blog into the Web site for your local newspaper.
I'm excited about this feature, because it's easier to find people who are already blogging, versus encouraging people who really have a lot to say and would be great bloggers to get over the stereotypes that come with being a blogger.
Blogging isn't just for young people, old people, political talking heads, newspaper columnists, radio commentators, big mouths, et cetera.
Blogging is for you.
If you want to read the discussion on the Web about local stuff, it's important for you to be part of the discussion. At least a little bit.
A small town can make a big difference, if the people who live here speak up.
I know it's easier to just let things keep going as they are, but maybe a blog would make a difference in Jordan. I'm sure a hundred blogs would make a difference.
People read this stuff, and they care what you have to say. So I'm hoping you give blogging a try.
If you already have a blog, please let me know about it. E-mail me a link or post it online, and I'll try to put it where people can see it and read it.
If you want to start a blog (a couple paragraphs a week is fine ... nothing complicated), register on this Web site, log in, click Add Content and then "blog entry."
If you have any questions, feel free to call me anytime at 952-492-2224. I'm happy to walk you through how to do this. Also feel free to e-mail if that's the easiest way for you to contact me -- whatever works.
This Web site is your place for discussion about Jordan.
