... and Cuddy makes another baserunning gaffe

If he was dead, Rod Carew would be turning over in his grave right now. Rightfielder Michael Cuddyer made a second key baserunning gaffe already this season.

His first one, Friday against the White Sox, may have cost the Twins the game. Tonight, he merely made a bad game worse.

"For a second there, I thought I was watching Lew Ford," said announcer Dan Gladden, who is usually complimentary of Cuddyer.

Cuddy just hasn't been on his game lately -- well, at least not on the basepaths. He's hitting .381, but that doesn't count for much if you get out on brainless plays 22 percent of the times you get on base. Egad!
