I chose "13 Conversations About the Same Thing" from the Sundance Film Festival section of my local Blockbuster video rental store.

It's a little strange, and it moves toward being pretty depressing -- so much so that I almost turned it off. Hopeless lives and awful happenstances don't exactly make for a great movie, in my judgment.

I toughed it out, and in the end, the viewer was left hopeful. Numerous character turnarounds made this movie interesting.

Another movie I'd only watch once, though. It wasn't bad, but the ending was good.
