David Crowder band is doing parts of their Collision CD. Nice CD the central thought behind it is that in a quote from David Crowder “where our depravity meets His divinity is a Beautiful collision.”

I am caught by the idea that when God intervenes in a life. It is a changed life. It is never without leaving a mark. At times it really leaves huge marks. At others, not so much. However, anyone who truly meets with the Living and Loving God. We will have the “Collision” experience. It is like the world is revealed. It is a moment in time that literally rips time and space. It is a moment when God takes all that is evil and makes it good. Why? Because He can. More than that, He even wants to do it. That time when David Crowder and the band were on the stage it was blazing hot. I meant it was like near a 100 degrees. We are all dancing to our God. Yes, dancing and praising. Honoring God. It was a moment in time when, I believe our God inhabits praise of His people. We are just there to receive the blessing, the healing for free. You might ask what is the blessing, knowing that I have a God who loves me in spite of all that I am.

Depravity is the antonym of Holiness. I cannot ever be holy, without the blood of Jesus Christ. I know this and it is the only thing that I can stand on. It is the only thing that sets me in the right standing with God. All of my trying to be good, never works. Why? Because there is no way I can be good. I am made good and right, by the blood of Christ. I am redeemed. I am made perfect in God’s eyes. I am His child. Oh, what a feeling it is, to be known by name by the God who loves me.
