All of our cases are unique. For me each one is a learning experience. Some of these cases are harder to write about then others. This is a case that involved a few of the many innocent children that walk in the spirit world.

Our group had theorized that when some children die, they are frightened when they see the light, and dose not realize that they need to go into the light. They are most likely confused and bewildered and will seek the first adult near by for comfort. Over the years they may travel from location to location seeking out a “motherly or fatherly” type person. Some will seek out other children to interact with them. I have to wonder how many of the invisible play mates that children have are really spirits.

This was a very exciting case for us. A very generous person donated a thermo camera and this will be the first case we are using it on. We did not know what to expect. Little did I know that this case would be very significant for us.

I received an e mail from a lady who had said that she has been experiencing strange activity in her home for a number of years. It had gotten to the point that she would not sleep upstairs even when her husband was home. However when her grandson started to become affected, she decided to do something about it.

Eva’s husband Steve is a very sensible man. If he had noticed anything unusual happening in the house he would ignore it or find a logical explanation. Eve had tried to do that in the beginning but as more things happened she started to wonder if it was all in her mind. Eva would see and feel things, even waking her up in the middle of the night by a choking feeling. When she woke up she saw the covers moving. What had happened that made Eva call us was one day she and her husband had left on a short vacation. Her daughter, husband and grandchildren came to stay at Eva’s house while they were gone. Their newborn son screamed from the moment they walked into the house until they left. Eva had enough, she was not going to let something territories her grandchildren.

After making arrangements with Eva, I called the troops to see who could come with me. Linda, our team psychic, Jack, my second and Kathy were able to attend this investigation.

Eva and Steve’s home is located in the rural area outside of Hutchinson. What seemed like endless dirt roads we finally arrived at the modest farmhouse. The house stood alone surrounded by fields of corn. The nearest neighbor was about ½ mile away. The house was built in the early 1900’s and you can see by the verity of out buildings the Farm was once large and prosperous, but now with the modern generation, they decided to seek a career outside of farming.
Steve spent many hours renovating their home. They put a lot of TLC in their home to make it warm and inviting.

As we greeted Eva, I set turned on my tape recorder and started to interview her and tour their lovely home. Eva filled me in on some of the new occurrences that had happened before our visit. She told me that in the bathroom on the main floor she heard music coming from the basement. She also heard the back door open and close. She said she checked it and it was still locked. We toured the house with her and she showed us all the locations where she felt, seen and heard things. Then she left us and went down stairs. We walked around upstairs trying to pick up any feelings. The atmosphere there seemed heavy. I decided to leave a tape recorder up stairs. Then we went down stairs. While everyone was down stairs, on the tape recorder I could hear a chair moving.

As we all met in the kitchen, Linda revealed her findings to Eva. “There are 2 children in your bedroom” she told her. They are at the window side of the bed. Eva gasped. “That is why I don’t sleep up there. I kept feeling something behind me when I slept.” Linda explained to her that the children didn’t mean any harm; they were seeking comfort from her. Eva has a motherly energy. She also told her that she felt a woman in the other room. She felt that she was attached to the turn of the century sewing machine. There was also a boy there in his teens, and Linda felt his name was Pat. Eva gasped again. And she told us of a young man who was friends with her children when they were teenagers. He used to call her mom, and he had died when he was a teen. Once again on our tapes we recorder a woman saying “Sorry Pat” http://media.putfile.com/sorry-Pat-76

Was this woman sorry that she helped reveal Pat to Linda?

There were a number of other spirits there. One seemed to have owned the house and had died in a car accident. He was the one who was trying to frighten Eva. He did not like anyone being there. He felt it was his house and he wanted them to leave.

We checked the house for any high EMF readings, but everything was normal. By this time it started to get dark outside and Jack brought out our thermo camera.

What happened next left us amazed.

Linda’s ability has been increasing since she had started with the group, However there was not much proof, except for some evps, to verify what she dose and when she helps cross the spirits over, until now.

Armed with the thermo camera, we went upstairs. Linda first wanted to help cross the children over to the other side. As we got upstairs, Jack said “Will you show yourself on the camera for us?”
