Today was probably the last 50 degree day we will see for a while, so after I got up from my afternoon nap we headed down to the Minnesota River to get out of the house.
I rarely go anywhere without my camera ( a Nikon 8700 ).
Arriving at the bridge, we turned off on the western parking area and realized that the guy getting out of the car next to us was wearing orange - oh no, it is hunting season - we better not stray to far as both of our coats are green! so I settled to get a few shots of the river. The light was great - giving some contrast to the browns of the river, it was also a pretty calm afternoon so the reflections were great. I sent them on the JI snapshots email but then saw this link for a Photographer's Guild... so here I am -
This is a nice forum, Mathias - it was be interesting to see what people are shooting pictures of.
Comments about my work are always appreciated.

Great pictures, Jayne. I...
Back to page topGreat pictures, Jayne. I think my favorite is of the bridge, because I love how you got the reflection. I also love how you got a picture without any cars in it. The picture from the Lagoon is pretty too, and I like how you framed it with the trunk of that tree. Those always make for more interesting pictures. Keep up the great work, and keep submitting your photos!

Glad you're a part of this group, Jayne. I know you have friends who could benefit from something like this, so please get them to join, too. Not everyone has to be from Jordan -- just have some kind of a connection.
