Do you remember making May Day baskets, filling them with wild flowers (or dandelions) and hanging them from neighbor’s doorknobs? Give your special girl a treat by making May Day baskets together and learning the history behind May Day, Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 10:30am and again at 1:00pm.
When the baskets are finished, we will don on our hats and gloves for tea and treats in the Stans house or garden (weather permitting).
Join in the fun and share your own memories with the significant little girl in your family. And, of course, bring your favorite doll! If you’d like, you may wear dresses and rag-curls for a 19th century look.
Date: Saturday, April 26, 2008
Times: 10:30 a.m., and a second tea at 2:00 pm.
Fee: $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for girls. Your American Girl Dolls* can come to the party for free!
