Back to page topThere was a South section in my Sunday Strib this week -- as well as a Twin Cities West -- but no Regional. I heard they were doing some renaming and rearranging so maybe that's the new South spot.

Back to page topThat was the south metro section, I believe. It doesn't look or act much like the Strib South, except for the Farmington and Lakeville stories.

Back to page topLately, it seems that the Strib has decided to stick with the idea of having two so-called South sections. Every day, we get the South Metro, which seems to include a whole lot of Minneapolis and St. Paul news. And on Wednesdays, we get the South Extra, which seems to have slightly more news from the southern suburbs.
Very little news about Jordan makes its way into the Strib, but last month, I did read a nice Q&A about Jordan Hubmen baseball player Danny Lewis and a well-done feature about the regional public safety training center in Sand Creek Township.
