I was sad to hear of Radar's death. I just got to meet him for the first time the day before he died. He was extremely friendly and I could tell he loved all the people he used to work with at the police station. I'm glad I got to meet him!

Radar had to be put down due to health problems. His handler, Officer Brian Stolt, told me Radar was in a lot of pain and there wasn't anything that could be done to help him get better. Radar also had suffered a back injury in 2005 that made it very difficult for him to even get up steps anymore.
