Back to page topI was in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for a niece's graduation last weekend. On the 25th, a strong storm system went through Iowa (a bit later than the storm that affected Hugo, MN). My husband and I were rounded up with the other hotel guests and brought to the hotel ballroom. In the ballroom, they had a TV that was on a station that was tracking the storms. The situation improved when the hotel opened the bar. It made the one hour wait bearable.
