As the Jordan City Council looks for a place to build a city hall and library, two sites are being considered – one along First Street, and the other at the intersection of highways 21 and 282.
- One site would be developed for a city hall and library before city would construct a new police station.
- A site near Creek and Nolden lanes is the most likely site for a new police station.
- Jordan can borrow about $5.5 million this year.
- The city also is borrowing $1.5 million for a fire department expansion and $375,000 for a fire truck.
